✨ Her concept inspired from Audrey Nuna’s music and large boxy silhouette, Tara pulled together this fit and accessories together for this shoot!

🤵🏾‍♀️🥀At this time, I also had impulsively given myself the Hime—“princess cut”. The suit & tie combo reminded me a lot of Makima from Chainsaw Man, and I LOVEDD the concept when she texted me about it🤗

💞 Fun fact: Tara and I worked together in retail when we were teens. We started roughly the same time, and I always adored that she was into fashion, plus the fact that we had similar interests in photography. Sadly we rarely worked together, and when we did — we were just too powerful together lol. Almost 8+ yrs have passed (I lost track how long, I blocked memory of working at that horrid place LOL i.e micro aggression🫥) we finally reconnected!!🥳🍾🎊

🍷💓 seeing each other as adults, both chasing our dreams and reflecting over a glass of red wine was such a full circle moment🤭 also, the fact that we both had a barre class before the shoot LOL. I was so sore, but she was hyping me so ofc I had to give movement and angles!!

One of my New Year’s resolution this to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Khmer!

Last year I studied with my dad on and off, so now I’m working on consistently learning in my own :)
Community is such a beautiful and important aspect in my life, and so is preserving our culture and language. I feel that as a 1st gen Khmer-American, I should do my part and actively work towards it❤️

Tapping back into my roots, I’ll keep you guys updated with my studies ahaha😆 there’s gonna be a lot of learning a growth this year. I’m ready for 2025– Khmer/TLC edition🇰🇭🇹🇭🇱🇦

😱Oh my gosh, I can’t believe 2024 is soon coming to an end! I didn’t even realize Twitch does recaps like this, but as a stats girl — I loved looking over the analytics lol. I was actually pretty surprised looking back because although I noticed our community growing bigger, I never realized how quick we grew together! Weeks before her concert I was listening to her nonstop (car rides, editing, journaling, showering — like ever second!). I was so excited when I saw her love, and yes— she’s just a gorgeous and her voice is just as lovely as it is in recording 💛

The venue was also so beautiful and romantic, is was so fitting. In the vlog I captured some of my favorite songs from her album, and of course the show-stopping set reveal at the end 💙

A cute little spot in Belltown where we spent our belated 6 year anniversary. The food was really good and the atmosphere was so summery and romantic! In the vlog, I ordered a tawny port and I didn’t realize they were tiny😂😂 it was cute tho, I love miniature things ahaha

Midnight polar plunge 🐻‍❄️❄️🥶

🍷💡After we had dinner and a couple glasses of wine, I mentioned I wanted to do a polar plunge all together since we had the lake all to ourselves 😊😂 it was pretty cold but tbh I didn’t notice it. I dropped the GoPro in the murky ass water which was pretty deep tbh but I dunk in and tried to grab it before it fell all the day (hence the dramatic ass intro of this vid)😂😂

Inspired by star anise and chai, I love autumn for many reasons. The aromatics, the cozy foods and drinks, and of course the colors. The blues, the greys, the oranges. Autumn always feels quiet; the morning dew on the grass as the fog unveils wherever you’re headed feels so magical✨
